One of the practices present in the vacation rental market is to rent the entire location and, at the same time, work advertising the rooms in this location to allocate different guests for the same period.
This applies to houses with many rooms or apartments with more than two bedrooms that are looking for an alternative accommodation target audience.

Creation or Configuration of the Listings
To configure the listing of the entire space and the rooms as lodgings options, follow the steps below:
|1||Register an independent listing to be the entire house or the apartment||This will be the standard listing where you will register all the products as rooms and the commercialization should be focused on who will rent the entire listing.|
It is necessary to register the entire house separately from the listings of the rooms, as some channels use the units to calculate the total number of people accomodated in various lodgings and this would generate conflict.
|2||Register the multi listing location representing the house||This listing will serve to describe to the guests the space where the rooms are located and possible services of common use to all, such as the kitchen, the concierge and other information.||SEE DETAILS|
|3||Register the rooms as listings in the location|
The rooms must be registered from the [Listing] tab of the address that you created in the previous step.
On the [Content] tab, Type section you must chech the [Private Room] option in the [Subtype] field because this indicates that the room belongs to the guest, however belongs to an apartment or house with dependencies shared with other guests.
Registering an entire house listing and the rooms as a separate listing in the same location may cause conflicts, because there are sales channels that add up the maximum capacity of all units and sell the reservation to groups! Based on that, please create the house in one location and the rooms in another location to avoid the conflict! At channel connection level, we recommend connecting the listing in which the house is the location and the rooms are within the location.
Integrating the listing's calendar
It is the main step of the configuration, because this will guarantee the communication of the calendars of your products, in order to prevent conflicting reservations about product segment, that is, having a guest that has booked the entire space in the same period where there are guests that booked only one of the rooms.
The solution to this is the iCal Connection, although it is necessary that you follow the steps according to your reservations routine:

|You must export your home calendar for each one of the rooms, because with that your room listings will be blocked with each new entire house reservation.||You must export the calendar of each one of the rooms to the house, because with that if at least one of the rooms is booked, the entire house will no longer be able to receive reservations for the period.|
|After having your iCal link, just access each room and perform the import of the house calendar.||After having your iCal link, just access the house and perform the import of all the rooms calendars.|

|The result must be similar to the one below for each case:|
|In this first option, the result will be as follows: when the entire house is rented, blocking will prevent the rental of the listings of the rooms independently.||In the second option, when one of the rooms is rented, blocking will prevent the rental of the entire house on the sales channels.|

- The iCal connection has a 30-minute interval period to sync calendar information.
If your listing is popular in sales channels, we recommend making manual blocks to avoid unexpected bookings!
- On calendar connections involving Stays listings, only blocks and reservations will be imported.
Settings such as "preparation time", "early arrivals blocks" or "late departures" for example, will not be imported into the connection.
