What are the promotion packages for?

Promotion packages make the rate structure more flexible and allow any gaps in the calendar to be filled. The prices created in these packages overlap with the prices for seasons and events - so it's possible to create an exception so that your listing is only rented for 1 night, for example. 

See the example below, where 1 night couldn't be rented if the rate had minimum stays longer than 1 night. The tool makes rates more flexible for short periods.

How to activate promotion packages?

Access [Settings > General Settings > Pricing]. On [Enable promotion packages], select [Yes] and save.

How to register?

Access your listing calendar, click and drag between the dates of the promotion package. When you release the mouse, click on [Promotion Package]. Enter the desired amount, check the box [Show on the website] and click on [Publish promotion]. Learn more.

How to set up?

During the creation of your promotion package, you'll have different fields to set up and also the current version of the system prices. See all the details for package settings.

How to deactivate?

On the listing calendar or on the general calendar, find the package dates and click on the amount or on the orange button. Finally, click on [Delete].

Can I create packages for vertical rate groups?

Promotion packages can only be applied to the parent listing. Once this is done, they're automatically transmitted to the rest of the rate group.

How is the interaction with sales channels?

When creating the promotion, the amounts are immediately sent to the channels. Note: if there's a promotion on Stays and on the sales channel at the same time, there'll be an overlap of rates.

What is the difference between promotions and promotion packages?

Promotions are variations of existing prices. They strictly follow the structure of minimum nights and only influence the final amount of the daily rates. Promotion packages, on the other hand, are structures to fill calendar gaps on your listings and give freedom to edit the structure of the selected period.
