By using the prices per period configuration model, you can apply changes to your listings' daily rates based on when the guest makes the reservation in relation to his or her arrival date.
Knowing the more common actions
The most common prices changing actions for last minute and in advance reservations, and in the chart below there are more details about each action:

In the prices per period configuration model, you can give discounts and also increase the prices if you want to.
How to set up the actions in the listings?
When access your listing's page, go to the [Finance > Pricing Setup] tab, click + Period, choose the Add Dynamic Price Rule option, fill up the information, and save the changes you made:

Remember that when setting the rules per listing, they will override your dynamic price rule for the same period set in the [Catalog > Price Rules] menu. Read more.
